CABERNET SAUVIGNON/MERLOT
South Africa, a country filled with beautiful nature, beaches, and sunshine. Vineyards overlooking the secluded area of the Atlantic ocean, famed for its gentle waves, inspire the laid-back style of Lazy Bay wines.
The Lazy Bay wines aspires to be easy-drinking wines, with emphasis of great fruit expression and smooth tannins.

VARIETIES: 85% CABERNET SAUVIGNON 15% MERLOT
VINTAGE: 2021
VINIFICATION:
These perfectly ripe grapes were picked early March. The berries were crushed and inoculated with yeast to bring out the best of the varietals. Fermented in stainless steel tanks at around 25°C, then lightly pressed and matured.
TASTING NOTES:
Upfront with loads of soft red berry fruits on the nose and palate and a touch or mint. Very accessible with fresh acidity and lingering spices on the finish.
SERVING:
Best at 15-18°C. Serve with pasta bolognaise, matured cheese and BBQ hamburgers with a spicy relish.
